BIOGRAPHY
Cosmina is a French artist born in 1968 in Romania.
As early as eight years old, she started to learn painting.
She studied painting, drawing, sculpture, etching, lithography, and art history at the École des Beaux-Arts de Paris.
For a year, Cosmina stayed in Japan, where she studied calligraphy under the direction of one of the greatest Japanese masters.
In London, in 1999, Cosmina was discovered by Max Laniado, promoter and patron of artists who distributes her works with worldwide exclusivity.
In 2005, she showed her first abstract paintings at major international art fairs.
Since 2005, she has had 16 solo exhibitions and participated in more than 100 group shows in Europe and the United States. Her works are part of numerous prestigious collections on the five continents.
International art experts considered Cosmina’s style as unclassifiable. Her innovative work, unique in art history, led these experts to create a new art movement called “Atmospheric Abstraction.”
Cosmina’s average rates are officially certified by eminent European experts and published in the 2019 and 2022 editions of the renowned Akoun Guide.
