Cosmina ENE, aka Cosmina is a French artist who has been living in New York City since 2015.
She expresses her original ideas in painting (oil or acrylic) and in various media: drawing, etching, lithography, screen printing, sculpture, and ceramics.
The unique style of Cosmina has been considered unclassifiable et led to a new artistic movement, “Atmospheric Abstraction.”
Since 2005, she has had 16 solo shows, participated in 10 international art fairs, and participated in more than 100 group exhibitions in Europe and the United States. Her works are part of numerous prestigious collections on the five continents.
Many art books dedicated to her works have been printed. The most recent one: “Cosmina Painting the Sources of the Self,” gathers her recent works from 2014 to 2017.
Cosmina is active on the New York scene and published three books compiling living artists’ interviews and describing their creative process. “The Seeds of Creation-Artists Art and Spirituality” in 2021, “The Seeds of Creation-Artists During the 2020 Pandemic” in May 2020, and “The Seeds of Creation-Artists-Interview with 18 Women Artists” in 2019.
Passionate about art history, Cosmina published three books: “Toward Abstraction-The Path to Abstraction in Modern Art” in 2017, “Paul Klee’s Legacy,” and “Paul Klee-Art and Teachings in 2018.

COSMINA published this compilation of artists' interviews when the COVID-19 pandemic stroked the world.
She asked artists suddenly locked in confinement to answer a short interview about their life during the pandemic.
The Seeds of Creation - Artists During the 2020 Pandemic gathers the expression and feelings of 40 artists from the New York area.
Artists were affected by the pandemic, forced confinement, and, for some, the inability to get to their studios or locate the necessary supplies for their work. Despite their hardships and frustrations, they had an insatiable desire to produce. It was amazing how productive they could be under such conditions.
