My Works On Paper
A limited series of original paintings (mixed media and inks):
As an interlude, I have introduced a new dimension into my artwork. I continue to build up my work through layers of colors, but, for the first time, I include dense black ink geometrical mark-making referring to maps and architectural, geographical, and flora features.
In 2017, in parallel to my painting, I decided to experiment with the principle of automatism developed by surrealist artists who applied the automatic writing techniques of André Breton. His idea was to suppress conscious control over the process of graphic creation.
I created 42 original works on paper based on the principles of surrealist automatism.
The series is titled: The Secret Garden of the Mind.

A few lithographs:
I enjoy working with various media. Each year, simultaneously with my oil paintings, I have created a series of prints using etching, lithography, silkscreen, or monotype techniques. Here is a selection of my favorite prints.
